Volunteer to Help
Thank you for your interest in helping with the Orion Project. We are a 100% volunteer-driven organization. This page contains information on various ways you can help, including downloadable materials to help get the word out and to tell us more about yourself and how you would like to contribute.
How can I help?
As TOP continues to grow, our need for help from volunteers expands. Our main goal is to spread the word about TOP and its goals. We also have some specific needs, so at this time we are looking for volunteers to help with the following projects.
If you can contribute by experience or have an innate interest in any of the projects listed below, please contact us for further information and discussion. These projects can be handled solo, in pairs or in small groups depending on the style you prefer and the number of volunteers. If you have an interest, please let us know as soon as possible. Together we can accomplish so much!
Opportunities to help:
- Introduce TOP to other websites you are connected with to expand out mailing lists
- Net searchers to get our e-mails and press releases posted on other interested websites. Tasks include: Net searching, editing, proof reading, positioning copy, etc.
- Computer savvy volunteers to do outreach work on the internet using social networking sites such as Myspace, youtube, etc.
- Search the web for other websites aligned with our mission and create links with them. Areas of search may include alternative energy, new energy, free energy, clean energy, Tesla devices, climate change, pollution, humanitarian work, etc.
- Send newsletters via snail mail to TOP subscribers without internet service.
- Send thank-yous to donors.
- Help with donor list transcriptions.
- Make bumper stickers with the TOP logo.
- Purchase a monthly subscription to International Movie Data Base Pro (IMDB Pro) to research actors and others aligned with our goals.
- Print out our PDF Flyer to post on bulletin boards in public places like grocery stores and coffee shops.
- Embed or link to any of the Orion Project YouTube videos from your website. You can also help by leaving positive comments and ratings for our videos on the YouTube site.
- Set up local fundraising and awareness building events for TOP.
- Tell us your skill and what you can do!
It is very important that we fulfill our functions in strict compliance with our non-profit status and legal guidelines; hence, if you wish to do any of the above for us, work through us. We look forward to hearing from you!
