Volunteer to Help
Thank you for your interest in helping with the Orion Project. We are a 100% volunteer-driven organization. This page contains information on various ways you can help, including downloadable materials to help get the word out.
Opportunities to help:
- Introduce TOP to other websites you are connected with to expand our mailing lists
- Share the Energy Briefing document with interested parties.
- Network with people that would be aligned with our goals and purpose.
- Ask family member and friends to write their politicians using our faxing system.
- Net searchers to get our e-mails and press releases posted on other interested websites. Tasks include: Net searching, editing, proof reading, positioning copy, etc.
- Computer savvy volunteers to do outreach work on the Internet using social networking sites such as MySpace, YouTube, etc.
- Send newsletters via snail mail to TOP subscribers without Internet service.
- Make bumper stickers with the TOP logo.
- Print out our PDF Flyer to post on bulletin boards in public places like grocery stores and coffee shops.
- Embed or link to any of the Orion Project YouTube videos from your website. You can also help by leaving positive comments and ratings for our videos on the YouTube site.
- Set up local fundraising and awareness building events for TOP.
