It's Time To Vote!

A Simple Message
This week our message to everyone is simple-VOTE! We live in country where we have the right, and the responsibility, to select our public leaders. Tuesday November 4th is that opportunity, so search your mind and heart to find the principles and candidates that you believe will work to build a better world and end our dependence on fossil fuels. Each and every person's vote is important to the outcome of not only the next 4 years, but for many generations to follow us.
No Agenda
As you know, The Orion Project is promoting the development of new energy sources for the benefit of everyone on our planet, and as such, we have no political or religious agendas. No matter what your political preference, fossil fuels will run out sooner or later, and we must start developing new sources of power now before they do.
Which Way To Go?
Many strategies exist for expanding our supply of fossil fuels today. Some say we should be using our own supplies rather than importing. But even drilling here at home in the U.S. is not a long term solution. It is too costly, creates a real security risk, damages the environment, and will not supply significant amounts of fuel at our current rate of consumption. Concerned Company Helps
Just this week a concerned business pledged to donate $50 of every $1,000 order of selected eco-conscious floors to TOP. Simple Floors offers green flooring products through a dozen company stores, and on line as well. Through this generous offer, the first week of donations has totaled $1,150. Simplefloors has also posted links to TOP from their website to help us get the word out to concerned citizens.
Ways You Can Vote
Voting for the candidates you believe on Nov. 4th is an essential action you can take to promote new energy. AND there is another important way you can vote! You can vote with your dollars-like a recent donor couple who felt so strongly about clean energy that they gave $50,000-TWICE! Their donation pushed TOP over the $350,000 mark. While you may not have that much expendable cash, every dollar contributed moves us closer to our goal of energy freedom and a cleaner world.
